语(yǔ )出(chū )《文(wén )子(zǐ )·道(dào )德(dé )》:“故(gù )上(shàng )学(xué )以(yǐ )神(shén )听(tīng ),中(zhōng )学(xué )以(yǐ )心(xīn )听(tīng ),下(xià )学(xué )以(yǐ )耳(ěr )听(tīng )。以(yǐ )耳(ěr )听(tīng )者(zhě )学(xué )在(zài )皮(pí )肤(fū ),以(yǐ )心(xīn )听(tīng )者(zhě )学(xué )在(zài )肌(jī )肉(ròu ),以(yǐ )神(shén )听(tīng )者(zhě )学(xué )在(zài )骨(gǔ )髓(suǐ )。故(gù )听(tīng )之(zhī )不(bú )深(shēn ),即(jí )知(zhī )之(zhī )不(bú )明(míng )。”后(hòu )因(yīn )指(zhǐ )仅(jǐn )凭(píng )听(tīng )闻(wén )所(suǒ )得(dé )为(wéi )耳(ěr )学(xué )。
《宋(sòng )书(shū )·沉(chén )庆(qìng )之(zhī )传(chuán )》:“庆(qìng )之(zhī )厉(lì )声(shēng )曰(yuē ):‘众(zhòng )人(rén )虽(suī )见(jiàn )古(gǔ )今(jīn ),不(bú )如(rú )下(xià )官(guān )耳(ěr )学(xué )也(yě )。’”北(běi )齐(qí )颜(yán )之(zhī )推(tuī )《颜(yán )氏(shì )家(jiā )训(xùn )·勉(miǎn )学(xué )》:“又(yòu )尝(cháng )见(jiàn )谓(wèi )矜(jīn )诞(dàn )为(wéi )夸(kuā )毗(pí ),呼(hū )高(gāo )年(nián )为(wéi )富(fù )有(yǒu )春(chūn )秋(qiū ),皆(jiē )耳(ěr )学(xué )之(zhī )过(guò )也(yě )。”
宋(sòng )朱(zhū )熹(xī )《答(dá )陈(chén )肤(fū )仲(zhòng )书(shū )》之(zhī )一(yī ):“今(jīn )人(rén )耳(ěr )学(xué ),都(dōu )不(bú )将(jiāng )心(xīn )究(jiū )索(suǒ ),难(nán )与(yǔ )论(lùn )是(shì )非(fēi )也(yě )。”
